Fall 2024 Pop Ups

On December 8th, we played two concerts at two Staunton area retirement communities: Legacy at North Augusta and Aviva Baldwin Park. This was a free event offered to residents.

December 9th, we offered a concert at the Staunton Public Library. This free event was offered to the public.

We played classic holiday songs with a small ensemble.

Fall 2024 Concert

Our December 1st concert, ‘Songs of Joy and Hope,’ were inspired by some of Yo-Yo Ma's albums, and we played selections from a variety of genres, with several original arrangements by two of our board members, Thomas Wagner and Ben Leonard. We were delighted to have the wonderful cellist Beth Cantrell playing with us for this series!

Thank you to the First Baptist of Waynesboro, VA who allowed us to use their space! We enjoyed sharing our music with you.

Our songs from our December 1st concert included:

My Favorite Things
Dona Nobis Pacem
Solveig’s Song
Happy Xmas (War is Over)
Thula Baba
Joy to the World
Les Chemins de L’amour
Blackbird
De Colores
Londonderry Air
